Volkswagen has started pre-sales for the ID. Cross with a 37 kWh battery. The new version targets drivers who mostly cover urban traffic and typical commuting routes and want an attractive entry-level price.
The ID. Cross was introduced in mid-July with a 52 kWh battery, and the smaller pack now joins it. It offers a WLTP range of up to 324 km and DC fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in around 23 minutes as standard. Top speed is 160 km/h, so the car is also designed for motorway driving.
Drive Options and Equipment Lines
The 37 kWh battery can be combined with 85 kW (116 PS) or 99 kW (135 PS) drive systems and is offered in Trend, Life and Style trims. In Germany, the ID. Cross Trend with the 85 kW drive starts at €27,995.
Same SUV Concept Across Battery Sizes
The basic concept of the ID. Cross stays the same regardless of battery size. The SUV design, high-quality interior, large displays, intuitive controls and generous space carry over.
The Trend trim already includes front and rear Park Distance Control and App Connect smartphone integration. Life and Style add comfort and technology features.

Higher-class technology is available as well, including Connected Travel Assist, which uses networked data for predictive assisted driving, along with a Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof and 12-way electrically adjustable seats with massage.
