Stellantis and Wayve are taking part in Wave by Vento 2026 in Turin, held October 7 to 9. The companies plan to bring together executives, technology and real-world demonstrations to show how artificial intelligence can make mobility safer, more intuitive and more relevant to daily life.
The centrepiece of Stellantis’ participation is a conversation titled “Technology Made for Humans,” between CEO Antonio Filosa and Wayve co-founder and CEO Alex Kendall. Morgan Stanley’s Adam Jonas will moderate the session on October 9 at 11:20 a.m. on the Fucine Main Stage. The two executives will discuss AI-powered mobility and how strategic partnerships can bring technology to scale.
Demo Rides in Fiat 500e and Maserati Grecale
Throughout the event, the companies will offer demonstration rides in Fiat 500e and Maserati Grecale development vehicles equipped with STLA AutoDrive powered by Wayve. Combining Wayve’s AI Driver with Stellantis’ STLA AutoDrive platform, the cars show hands-free, door-to-door supervised automated driving (Level 2++) in real-world conditions.

The Fiat 500e and Maserati Grecale follow the Jeep Grand Cherokee development vehicle shown at Stellantis’ May Investor Day. Across the three vehicles, platforms and configurations, the same core AI driving foundation is applied without developing separate driving intelligence for each model. The companies say this gives them a flexible base for bringing advanced driver-assistance technology to more brands and customer profiles over time.
Reducing the Effort of Everyday Driving
Stellantis presents the goal as practical: reduce the mental effort of everyday driving and create a more natural, seamless and comfortable experience. The partnership, announced in May 2026, combines Wayve’s end-to-end AI driving intelligence with Stellantis’ engineering and scalable platforms.

It initially focuses on hands-free, door-to-door supervised automated driving on highways and in urban areas, with a first product launch targeted for 2028 in North America. The companies say safety, trust and customer experience remain central to the work.
