Mercedes-Benz and adidas have released the adidas Samba OG x Mercedes-Benz shoe, available online and in selected adidas stores from October 13.
The limited-edition model marks the launch of a strategic partnership that the companies say will bring a series of future projects. It was first announced in late January, when Mercedes-Benz opened its “140 Years of Innovation” anniversary year with the world premiere of the S-Class. The Samba, a long-standing classic known for its sport heritage and style, fits a brand that has shaped mobility for 140 years.
Design Details From the S-Class
The upper borrows the diamond stitching from the S-Class interior, and the Mercedes-Benz logo appears across the tongue. The shoe comes in monochrome Magic Beige, Grey Five and Black. The companies position the design as a blend of tradition and progress, combining the Samba’s football-pitch origins with signature elements from both brands.

Christina Schenck, Mercedes-Benz AG’s Vice President for Digital and Communications and Investor Relations, said the partnership connects two brands that share a passion for iconic design, innovation and experiences that people connect with. Michael Batz, Motorsport Category GM at adidas, said the team reimagined the Samba with design details that bring together two centres of excellence.
S-Class Globetrotters Visit adidas

Three new S-Class vehicles, named Bertha, Carl and Gottlieb, completed the “140 Years. 140 Places.” world tour, covering nearly 65,000 kilometres across six continents. On October 13 they stopped at adidas in Herzogenaurach, home to its global headquarters, on the final leg before the grand finale in Stuttgart on October 17.
