Alpine closed its Paris Motor Show stand with 270,000 visitors. The A310 VISION drew the most attention, while the A110 Sculpture offered a first look at the proportions of the third-generation A110.
The brand also extended its Atelier Alpine personalisation programme to the A290 and A390. Alpine says the show set out its ambition to become the world’s reference French premium sports speciality brand. Sales rose from about 4,500 cars in 2024 to more than 10,000 in 2025, and have already passed 13,000 this year.
The A290 is now the brand’s best-seller, and the A390 electric sport fastback is adding to growth, with new customers making up 80 percent of buyers. The network spans 251 points of sale in 26 countries.
A310 VISION: A Concept, Not a Production Plan
The A310 VISION is a one-off concept that reimagines the 1971 A310, the sports car that extended the Berlinette story with a low, wide silhouette. It arrives in a year marking 55 years of the four-cylinder car and 50 years of the V6. Alpine CEO Philippe Krief introduced it as a demonstration of what the modular Alpine Performance Platform (APP) can support in different bodystyles and powertrains, and as a creative exploration of heritage rather than a production announcement.

The design team asked how the original would look if drawn with today’s languages and materials, and set out to extend its intent rather than copy it. The result pairs the purity of the early four-cylinder cars with the muscular stance of the V6 and its widened wings. Triangular “A”-shaped wheels recall the early cars’ metal wheels, aluminium bodywork meets a black Formula One-inspired lower section, and a semi-transparent bubble canopy reveals the cockpit. Headlights pop down at start-up.
A110 Sculpture Hints at the Next Generation
The next-generation A110, due at the end of 2027, appeared in sculpture form beneath a blue veil that suggests motion. Antony Villain, Alpine’s VP of Design, unveiled it alongside Formula One driver Pierre Gasly. The shape draws partly on the tension created when Concorde broke the sound barrier.
The sculpture carries the model’s legacy in a V-shaped nose with dual light signature, a beltline running from shark-nose front to lowered tail, and a teardrop cabin between four pronounced wheel arches. Alpine says the third-generation A110 will be the world’s first true electric sports car and will build on APP.
A290 and A390 Gain Personalisation and Connectivity
The A290 receives Atelier Alpine personalisation for the first time, along with a new Collection trim offered with 180 hp and 220 hp powertrains. It comes standard with Blanc Nival paint, a black roof and 19-inch diamond-cut Snowflake wheels, and inside has a Bleu Profond and Gris Evee textured finish and a heated steering wheel. Options include Telemetry, a Pack Safety with advanced driver assistance systems and a French flag on the C-pillar.

The A390 five-seat electric fastback debuted new colours and trims. The GTS wore Bleu Tempête Mat with a black roof, Sabelt sport seats in grey Nappa leather, 21-inch forged wheels and carbon Damier mat trim. The GT appeared in Bleu Alpine Vision with 20-inch Comète alloys.
Both models support V2X bidirectional charging, covering V2G grid interaction and V2L power for external devices, and offer Google Gemini access through the Alpine Portal with Google built-in.
