Zeekr has launched the all-electric 7GT, a grand tourer designed and engineered in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is Zeekr’s fourth European model in three years, and the brand now operates in 16 European markets, adding roughly one country every two months.

The 7GT debuted at the Brussels Auto Show in January 2026 and has drawn more than 3,800 preorders. Lothar Schupet, CEO of Zeekr Europe, said the company combines Geely Holding Group’s scale and technology with European design, engineering and insight, and that the 7GT delivers the driving feel and craftsmanship customers want from a premium EV.

Low GT Shape and Crafted Details

The 7GT has a short front overhang, a low bonnet and a roofline that flows into a rear spoiler and rising tail. It measures 2,900 millimetres between the axles and stands 1,456 millimetres tall. A 21-degree “GT angle” and a 0.25 drag coefficient shape the profile.

The car has frameless doors, an active air intake that opens only when needed, and a full-width rear light bar. Orange brake calipers and 19- or 20-inch wheels appear on the range-topping Privilege trims.

A Cabin Built Around the Driver

The driver sits low behind a high console and a three-spoke steering wheel, facing a 13-inch digital instrument display. A 35.5-inch augmented reality head-up display and a 15-inch OLED touchscreen run the controls. The car runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and Zeekr’s Entertainment platform, built on Android Automotive OS.

The 12-way front seats include massage, heating and ventilation as standard. Rear seats offer 953 millimetres of legroom in a 2+2 layout. The boot holds up to 456 litres, or 1,390 litres with the rear seats folded, and a 65-litre frunk sits under the bonnet. The optional Zeekr Sound Pro system has 23 speakers and up to 2,160 watts.

Driver Assistance and Connectivity

Zeekr Assisted Drive offers Level 2 features, including adaptive cruise with towing assist, lane centring, automatic lane changes and traffic light awareness. Seven cameras, three radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors power the system, which was tested over 200,000 kilometres across 15 European countries.

Automatic parking covers parallel, perpendicular and diagonal spaces, and optional Remote Parking Assist works from up to six metres away through the Zeekr iOS app. Every 7GT includes four years of Zeekr Connected Standard, with over-the-air updates throughout ownership.

Three Models and Performance Figures

The 800-volt platform underpins three versions. The Core is rear-wheel drive with a 75 kWh LFP battery, a 310 kW motor, 421 hp and 519 km WLTP range. The Long Range RWD uses a 100 kWh NMC battery for up to 655 km WLTP. The Privilege AWD adds a second motor, a 165 kW front unit, for 646 hp and 710 Nm, with 0-100 km/h in as little as 3.3 seconds and a 210 km/h top speed.

Charging reaches 450 kW with the LFP battery and 420 kW with the NCM battery under optimal conditions, and the car accepts 22 kW AC at home. The 10 percent to full AC charge takes under five hours. Zeekr says the 11.6-metre turning circle and 50:50 weight distribution support a dynamic ride, and Active Air Suspension lowers the car by 20 millimetres at speed.

European prices start from €45,990, depending on the market.

Zeekr’s European Push

Zeekr says it has launched 11 premium electric models across more than 40 markets, reaching more than 800,000 customers. The Zeekr 001, X and 7X all carry Euro NCAP five-star ratings, and its navigation system was named Navigation App of the Year at the 2025 AutoTech Breakthrough Awards. The company aims to cover around 90 percent of European markets by the end of 2026.
