Hyundai Motor America is giving eligible Hyundai EV owners an automatic 10% discount on every charging session at IONNA fast-charging stations nationwide, starting August 19, 2026.
The benefit comes through Hyundai’s role as a founding partner in IONNA, the high-speed public charging network built by a group of major automakers, and runs on an ongoing basis rather than as a limited promotion.
On top of that, IONNA is layering in an additional 10% bonus discount through September 30, 2026, bringing the total savings to 20% for a limited time.
How It Activates
The discount applies automatically only when a driver starts a charging session using Hyundai In-App Charging or Plug & Charge functionality through the MyHyundai with Bluelink app — no codes, cards or manual entry required — and it can stack with other IONNA promotions like holiday or limited-time pricing.

Olabisi Boyle, senior vice president of product planning and mobility strategy at Hyundai Motor North America, framed the move as addressing trust in the charging system rather than just battery range, arguing that removing friction points like manual payment steps is central to building confidence in public charging.
IONNA CEO Seth Cutler said the discount, available across the network’s more than 150 locations, is the first initiative built specifically around Hyundai drivers.
Which Vehicles Qualify
Eligible vehicles include the Hyundai IONIQ 5 from the 2022 model year onward, the IONIQ 5 N starting with 2025, the IONIQ 6 from 2023 onward, the IONIQ 9 from 2026 onward, and the KONA Electric starting with the 2025 model year, with more Hyundai EVs expected to gain access as In-App Charging support expands to additional models.

Select Genesis EVs also qualify, including the GV60 and Electrified GV70, both from the 2026 model year onward.
