Toyota has extended its deepest sympathies and condolences to all those affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, announcing a package of emergency aid measures in response.

Relief Supplies and Vehicle Support for Affected Areas

Working alongside vehicle dealers, Toyota Rental & Leasing stores, Toyota Motor Kyushu, and related group companies, Toyota will provide relief supplies, lend vehicles, and dispatch disaster relief volunteers to affected municipalities and other organizations.

This includes deploying power supply vehicles such as the Moving e to deliver emergency electricity at evacuation centers. Toyota said it will work to identify what aid is most needed and provide support accordingly.

Donations to Relief Organizations

Toyota is donating a total of 30 million yen, split among the Japanese Red Cross Society, the Central Community Chest of Japan, and Japan Platform.

The company said it will continue coordinating with the government, local authorities, and relief organizations while closely monitoring conditions on the ground to determine further support, expressing hope for the earliest possible recovery of the affected areas.
