Lexus has released a partially updated LBX MORIZO RR through Lexus dealers nationwide on May 13.
The model was developed alongside Master Driver Akio Toyoda, known as Morizo, as a high-performance machine that retains Lexus’s refined driving quality and sophisticated design while letting drivers enjoy dialogue with the car, bringing smiles and a heightened sense of the extraordinary.
The LBX MORIZO RR carries a 1.6L inline three-cylinder intercooler turbo engine (G16E-GTS). Its character comes from driving qualities honed thoroughly with racing drivers, an exterior design reinforcing a lower centre of gravity image, and a sporty interior design.
New Exterior and Interior Color Additions
This update introduces a newly created exterior colour, “Neutrino Grey & Black,” which expresses sporty driving by subtly blending metallic highlights into a hard light grey. The colour is selectable across all variants.

For the standard specification interior, Lexus added a new “Ochre” colour. Combined with the existing black, this creates a two-colour lineup, expanding the colour variations available to customers.
Bespoke Build Customization Options
Within the “Bespoke Build,” Lexus made the yellow-accented bumper moulding and seatbelt—well received in the special-edition “Original Edition”—selectable as well. This addition allows customers to express the distinctive character of Morizo’s personal car. Lexus stated it will continue to provide options that match customers’ diverse needs.

Quality was also improved by changing the surface material of the front pillar garnish and sun visor to fabric.
New Mark Levinson Premium Audio System
As a manufacturer option, Lexus newly introduced the 17-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System. The additional speakers create a more immersive sound environment and enable more realistic sound expression through ASC (Active Sound Control).
By using speakers on the left and right of the luggage area in addition to the conventional audio speakers, the system produces more natural and powerful sound. This makes it easier to intuitively grasp the vehicle’s condition while heightening the exhilaration of driving.
Enhanced Safety Technology
A driver monitor function has been added to the Lexus Safety System+ preventive safety technology. By detecting the driver’s gaze, eyelid movement, and face direction, the system identifies reduced attention or drowsiness and issues warnings, supporting collision avoidance and damage mitigation.

In addition, a drive recorder and ITS Connect are now standard equipment on all vehicles, contributing to safe and secure driving.
Pricing and Powertrain Options
The LBX MORIZO RR is powered by the G16E-GTS 1.6L inline three-cylinder intercooler turbo engine. The standard MORIZO RR is priced at 6,800,000 yen (10% consumption tax included) in both Direct Shift-8AT with electronically controlled AWD and 6-speed iMT configurations.
