Polestar, the Swedish electric car brand, has announced Canadian Olympic skier Justine Dufour-Lapointe as a brand ambassador, uniting two partners that share a passion for precision and performance.
As part of the collaboration, Dufour-Lapointe will drive Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 models, to support her training and competition travel routine throughout the season. The partnership will also see her attend select Polestar customer experiences and events across Canada.
A two-time Olympic medalist and one of Canada’s most celebrated athletes, Dufour-Lapointe captured Olympic gold in Sochi (2014) and silver in PyeongChang (2018) in the moguls. She then transitioned to freeride skiing, where she became Freeride World Tour Champion in 2023 and 2025, and earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2023. She has become a powerful role model for women in her community, engaging over 100,000 followers on Instagram.
“Polestar’s vision of performance with purpose resonates with me, as their vehicles reflect the same balance of precision and control that I strive for when competing,” said Dufour-Lapointe. “The Polestar 3 is an incredible vehicle to live with day-to-day, and a confidence-inspiring partner on my trips to the mountains, regardless of the weather conditions.”

“As one of Canada’s most inspiring athletes, Justine brings a powerful and authentic voice to Polestar’s growing presence in the country,” said Hugues Bissonnette, Head of Polestar in Canada. “We are proud to support her journey and highlight how electric performance can fit seamlessly into an active Canadian lifestyle.”
The partnership comes at a pivotal time for the brand, as Polestar is set to begin deliveries of the all-new Polestar 4 in Canada by the end of November. Polestar 4 transforms the aerodynamics of a coupe and the space of an SUV into a new breed of SUV coupe. With its striking design and advanced technology, the Polestar 4 redefines what drivers can expect from a modern electric vehicle.
