Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car brand, announced a series of upgrades focused on refining the driving experience and reducing the carbon footprint of the award-winning Polestar 4 coupé. The model is now available to order, with prices starting from $78,500.
Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar, stated the upgraded Polestar 4 coupé is better than ever, offering a more refined ride with enhanced driving pleasure and stronger sustainability credentials. Overall, the Polestar 4 coupé delivers an even more compelling package without compromise.
Recalibrated Chassis and Steering Enhancements
Rear motor and Dual motor variants feature a recalibrated chassis with high-capacity passive dampers, new spring and anti-roll bar settings, and polyurethane rebound stops replacing internal rebound coil springs.
The driving experience is further enhanced by improved steering precision. As a result, Polestar 4 coupé offers a more controlled ride in all driving conditions with improvements to both agility and comfort.
Performance and Carbon Footprint Leadership
Polestar 4 coupé remains the fastest SUV in the Polestar lineup, with all-wheel drive Dual motor variants covering the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.8 seconds, while also offering the lowest carbon footprint of any Polestar. The model will reach customers in Australia with a carbon footprint of 20.3 tCO₂e for Dual motor cars and 19.4 tCO₂e for Rear motor.

The cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of Polestar 4 coupé Dual motor has decreased by 1.1 tCO₂e for Australia since launch, emphasizing Polestar’s continuous focus on sustainability.
Revised Trim Structure and Visual Differentiation
For the new model year, Polestar 4 coupé adopts a revised trim level structure and naming convention, with Rear motor, Dual motor, and Dual motor with Performance pack.
The setup brings clear progression to the Polestar 4 range, with subtle visual details differentiating model versions, including seatbelt and rotary control design in black on Rear motor, black with Swedish gold stripe on Dual motor, and full Swedish gold for Dual motor cars with Performance pack.
