
Yvonne Bettkober has resigned from her position leading Audi’s transformation efforts, effective immediately. Her departure comes after successfully guiding the automaker through an intensive period of organizational change aimed at improving operational efficiency and market positioning.
Bettkober’s tenure oversaw fundamental shifts in how the German luxury brand operates, including comprehensive cost reduction initiatives and productivity enhancement programs designed to strengthen Audi’s competitive stance in an evolving automotive landscape.
Gernot Döllner, Audi‘s chief executive, praised Bettkober’s contributions during what he characterized as a crucial period for the company. He highlighted her role in establishing a more streamlined operational framework and fostering enhanced accountability across the organization.
The CEO emphasized that the transformation work initiated under Bettkober’s leadership will continue as a collective effort, with the entire organization committed to advancing the strategic changes already underway. Daniel Kauer will take on transformation responsibilities alongside his current positions as General Secretary and Head of Corporate Strategy. This arrangement will remain in place while the company identifies a permanent replacement for the role.
The automaker indicated that an announcement regarding long-term leadership for the transformation function will be made at a later date, though no specific timeline was provided.
