Lamborghini unveiled the Temerario Tricolore at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week, alongside the world premiere of the Revuelto SV.
The bespoke configuration marks the first car to carry the Tricolore name since the Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore in 2011, bringing the colors of the Italian flag back to a Lamborghini for the first time in 15 years.
Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann framed the car as a celebration of the values he sees as core to Lamborghini — visionary design, technological innovation, uncompromising performance and Italian craftsmanship — and pointed to it as proof of how the brand’s Ad Personam customization program lets customers turn their own vision into a genuinely unique car.
The Temerario Tricolore was designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile and finalized through Ad Personam, following two bespoke Temerario configurations shown at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed and arriving as Lamborghini marks Ad Personam’s 20th anniversary.
Reinterpreting a 2011 Tribute
The original Gallardo Tricolore marked the 150th anniversary of Italian unification through a simple flag-colored stripe. The new Temerario Tricolore takes a bolder approach with a two-tone body — Blu Marinus Shiny across the lower section and Bianco Monocerus covering the upper surfaces, including the upper doors and fenders — set off by glossy Nero Noctis detailing on the mirrors, wheels, engine cover and rear section. Red brake calipers add a sporting accent, while a green, white and red graphic on the hood offers a direct nod to the Italian flag.
The deep blue Blu Marinus Shiny finish, which reveals lighter reflections under direct light, works alongside the white upper body to emphasize the Temerario’s rising character line running from the front wheel arches through the doors to the rear shoulders, while also highlighting Centro Stile’s newer design language — sharp front surfacing, hexagonal daytime running lights, an exposed engine and integrated aerodynamic elements.
A Cabin Built Around the Same Theme
Inside, Nero Ade upholstery pairs with Rosso Alala contrast stitching, while a recurring hexagonal motif ties the cabin back to the exterior design and Lamborghini’s broader visual identity.
A silhouette of the car itself is worked into the rear cabin trim, and “Tricolore” lettering is embroidered on the door panels, with every material, graphic and color chosen as part of one unified design rather than added separately.
Unchanged Performance Underneath
Mechanically, the Temerario Tricolore keeps the standard Temerario’s hybrid setup: a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors for a combined 920 CV.
The combustion engine’s 10,000 rpm redline sets a new benchmark for production super sports cars, delivering immediate throttle response and a distinctive sound across the rev range, with the car reaching 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and a top speed beyond 340 km/h.
Lamborghini frames the car less as a decorative special edition than as a complete design exercise, where color, material and detail were developed together to turn the Temerario’s engineering into an emotional expression of Italian craftsmanship.
