Devin Booker and Nike have unveiled Book 2, a four-sneaker collection inspired by Booker’s personal collection of vintage Chevrolet Impalas.
The line follows last year’s sold-out Book 1, which drew from Booker’s classic Chevy Blazers, and pushes further into his Michigan roots and long-running Chevy fandom.
The first release, “Pretty Penny,” takes its color scheme directly from Booker’s 1959 Chevrolet Impala convertible — the car that kicked off his classic car habit in the first place — and will debut early in Detroit during the Woodward Dream Cruise before a wider fall release.
Matching Sneakers to Specific Cars
Each shoe in the Book 2 collection is tied to one of Booker’s own Impalas, matching that car’s paint color and adding small design nods like tongue details echoing each vehicle’s hood ornament, along with the corresponding model year — ’58, ’59, ’62 and ’63 — worked into the design.

The collection also includes a “Heartbeat of America” T-shirt referencing Chevrolet‘s well-known ’80s and ’90s ad campaign, and each pair ships in a custom box modeled on Chevrolet’s mid-century Accessories packaging, right down to the kraft-paper construction and bold teal-and-orange graphics.
Booker described the project as a natural extension of his lifelong Chevy fandom and his personal car collection, which he calls “The Library,” saying the chance to tie his Michigan roots to his passion for the brand made this collaboration feel personal.
Launching at Woodward Dream Cruise
“Pretty Penny” becomes available in Detroit on Saturday, August 15, timed to the Woodward Dream Cruise — an annual, single-day gathering that draws roughly 40,000 vintage cars along a 16-mile stretch of Woodward Avenue and pulls participants from across North America.

Fans in Detroit can reserve a pair through the SNRKS Pass on August 14 ahead of the limited local drop, with pickup available at Burn Rubber in Royal Oak, Michigan, on release day; a global release follows in early fall, and the remaining three shoes in the collection arrive in December 2026.
Scott Bell, vice president of Global Chevrolet, said seeing an athlete of Booker’s stature draw genuine inspiration from a classic Chevy resonates widely, calling the resulting sneaker collaboration a distinctive moment for the brand.
