At the Paris Motor Show, Fiat presented two concepts with different takes on mobility. MULTIPLAY showed a 3-in-1 interpretation of family mobility, exploring how one vehicle can adapt to different needs.
Multiplina focused on maximising space and everyday usability in an ultra-compact footprint. Fiat introduced the Multiplina vision in June, placing it within a broader micromobility ecosystem alongside Topolino and TRIS.
Between Topolino and a Conventional Car
Fiat describes Multiplina as the missing link between Topolino and a conventional passenger car. It combines four seats, compact dimensions and fully electric mobility. At 3.04 metres long, 1.40 metres wide and 1.53 metres high, it carries four occupants in a small footprint.

Its fully electric L7 heavy quadricycle architecture offers more space and versatility than an ultra-compact urban vehicle, while keeping the simplicity of a quadricycle. Fiat calls the concept a Multi-Purpose Quadricycle, designed for commuting, school runs, errands and short trips.
A Nod to the 1956 Fiat 600 Multipla
Multiplina draws on the 1956 Fiat 600 Multipla, which carried six people in 3.5 metres. Fiat says the concept brings that people-first philosophy into a new mobility context rather than recreating the past.

Design cues include the forward-positioned windscreen, two-tone bodywork, the front “moustache” and rear air-vent treatment, each reinterpreted in a contemporary Fiat style.
Doing More With Less
Fiat presents Multiplina around a simple principle: use less to deliver what people need. Compact dimensions, low weight and efficient use of space reduce the materials and resources required while keeping everyday practicality. Electrification is one part of the approach, which Fiat frames as sustainable mobility built on simplicity and resource efficiency.
