Swedish electric performance brand Polestar has confirmed a new addition to its Polestar 4 lineup—the Polestar 4 SUV—with sales scheduled to begin September 2.
Broadening customer choice within the segment, the Polestar 4 SUV extends the success already achieved by the Polestar 4 coupé.
This latest variant introduces greater flexibility and everyday usefulness through versatile storage suited to any journey, while preserving the design, performance, and sustainability qualities that characterize the coupé.
Executive Perspective on the Launch
Michael Lohscheller, Polestar CEO, stated the Polestar 4 has quickly become a favourite among customers, with strong demand emerging from drivers seeking distinctive design and performance alongside genuine practicality.
He explained that the Polestar 4 SUV builds on that momentum by delivering even more versatility while remaining faithful to the Polestar 4 character. He described it as a car wrapped in striking design that he had long looked forward to presenting to the world.
Retuned Chassis and 400V Architecture
Both the Polestar 4 SUV and the latest Polestar 4 coupé adopt retuned chassis components that further sharpen each model’s sporty driving dynamics.
The proven, efficient 400V architecture underpins impressive range and performance figures—reaching up to 630 km (WLTP) in Rear motor variants and up to 544 hp in Dual motor models.
Manufacturing and Market Availability
The Polestar 4 SUV is produced in Busan, South Korea, and will be available to order across a majority of Polestar markets.
