The undisputed leader in the large SUV market is back with a more majestic look.
Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the design of its premium flagship large SUV, the all-new PALISADE, for the first time on Friday (June 6).
The all-new PALISADE is the sixth model to be completely redesigned since its debut in November 2018, and it inherits the PALISADE’s distinctive character while becoming more robust and luxurious.
Hyundai plans to continue its dominant position in the domestic large SUV market by introducing the new Palisade with an eye-catching presence and delicate consideration for passengers.
The overwhelming presence that captures your attention, the subtle details that lie beneath
The new Palisade has a powerful presence that captivates the eye, but also delicate details that are hidden beneath it.

The new Palisade is centered on a strong impression, with bolder proportions and a more robust and luxurious image.
At the front, the vertical DRLs and bold radiator grille combine with the Palisade’s distinctive character to create a striking first impression, while the futuristic and intense center-positioning lamps are balanced by the high hood, giving the impression of a grand sculpture.
At the side, the shorter front overhang, lengthened wheelbase and rear overhang give the car more robust proportions, while the dynamic 21-inch wheels complement the elegant and clean side image.
The horizontal character line from the hood merges with the beltline to create a simple yet upscale atmosphere, while the D-pillars, which appear to be one continuous line from the roof rack, maximize the boldness.
At the rear, the rear lamps are designed to harmonize with the front lamps, emphasizing the vehicle’s wide stance and giving a sense of unity to the vertical character of the Palisade.
A grand, comfortable interior thoughtfully designed for family and friends
The interior of the new Palisade is designed under the theme of “Premium Living Space,” with a more spacious cabin and a horizontal layout inspired by furniture design to create a cozy, home-like atmosphere.
The spacious interior, which is based on an increased length and wheelbase compared to the previous generation model, is designed to accommodate a family’s lifestyle, with seats, console, dashboard, and other interior components placed in the right places, and soft materials and sophisticated finishes to create a comfortable and elegant atmosphere.

Up front, a panoramic curved display, each with a 12.3-inch digital cluster and infotainment screen, enhances driver visibility and adds a cutting-edge touch.
In addition, the island-type center console, which is separated from the front of the dashboard, provides a sense of spaciousness and is equipped with a USB charging port capable of charging up to 100W and a wireless charger, two large cupholders, a lower storage compartment, and a console box that opens with both doors.
In particular, the new Palisade is equipped with Hyundai’s first center console that can be used as a middle seat in the first row to maximize space utilization, and this makes it possible to select a 9-seater model that can be used as a bus lane. (※ Individual consumption tax exemption for 9-seater models, and VAT refund for business owners when registered as a business passenger vehicle)
The second row can be freely configured with independent seats for seven passengers or 6:4 split seats for nine passengers, depending on customer preference, while the third row comes standard with 6:4 split seats and an enlarged rear quarter glass to create a spacious feeling of openness.
Hyundai developed the colors of the new Palisade based on delicate craftsmanship to create a distinctive sense of luxury befitting a flagship premium SUV.
The exterior colors of the new Palisade include Abyss Black Pearl, Creamy White Pearl, Shimmerling Silver Metallic, and Roasted Emerald Pearl, and four new colors, including Ecotronic Gray Pearl, Cast Iron Brown Pearl, Galaxy Maroon Pearl, and Clarity Blue Pearl.
There are five interior colors to choose from: Black One-tone, Gray Two-tone, Brown Two-tone, Navy Two-tone, and Dark Gray Two-tone.
“The All-New Palisade embodies a bold, luxurious design with attention to detail,” said Simon Rothby, Managing Director of Hyundai Design Center. ”The interior design, complete with intricate details reminiscent of premium furniture, will redefine the Palisade as a comfortable yet versatile space for families.”
