Hyundai and Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA) delivered a standout performance at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca 120 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca over the weekend, delivering a commanding 1-2-3 finish and further cementing Hyundai’s dominance in the 2025 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC).

The No. 76 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, driven by Denis Dupont and Preston Brown, secured victory after charging through the field from their P13 starting position. Joining them on the podium were teammates Mason Filippi and Harry Gottsacker in the No. 98 car, finishing second.

Mark Wilkins and Bryson Morris in the No. 33 car claimed third, rounding out a landmark triple-podium weekend for Hyundai and BHA.

The race began with the No. 33 Hyundai on pole, with Wilkins leading the opening 46 laps and showcasing the strength of Hyundai’s TCR platform. The No. 98 entry briefly took the lead before serving a drive-through penalty, while the No. 76 car steadily climbed the order.

Leveraging strategic pit stops and well-timed caution periods, Dupont executed a flawless final stint to claim the lead with just 15 minutes remaining. A competitor’s late-race penalty elevated No. 98 to second place and No. 33 to third, sealing a Hyundai podium sweep.

Beyond the podium, the No. 9 BHA entry of Madison Aust and Suellio Almeida gained six positions to finish fifth, while the No. 72 Pegram Racing Hyundai, piloted by Riley and Larry Pegram, moved up five spots to finish tenth.

The No. 99 Victor Gonzalez Racing Team entry, driven by Eric Powell and Tyler Gonzalez, finished twelfth, and the No. 18, driven by Lance Bergstein and Jon Miller, came home in thirteenth.

This dominant performance further strengthens Hyundai’s lead in the IMPC Manufacturers’ Championship and highlights the brand’s consistent performance and engineering excellence in North American motorsport.
