Nissan has revealed the all-new PIXO, an electric A-segment city car developed specifically for European urban driving as part of the brand’s broader “Mobility Intelligence for Everyday Life” vision.

The car extends Nissan’s European EV lineup into a new segment, joining the brand’s existing electric models and e-POWER hybrid technology to widen customer choice. PIXO uses a 27.5 kWh LFP battery — the first LFP battery fitted to a Nissan model in Europe — for up to 259km of WLTP range, with 50kW DC rapid charging and 11kW AC charging standard across the range for convenient home and workplace charging.

The car also comes with driver-assistance features including automated emergency braking, a lane-keeping system and e-Pedal technology, alongside connected services through the MyNissan app for navigation, real-time route planning, charging and vehicle functions, and built-in Google services including Gemini for intuitive navigation and connectivity.

Built Through the Renault Alliance

PIXO was developed in partnership with Renault, drawing on both companies’ complementary strengths to build a city car suited to European customer needs.

Nissan handled the design while production takes place at Renault’s Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia, an arrangement Nissan points to as proof of how the Alliance can bring relevant new products to market quickly and efficiently.

Massimiliano Messina, Chairperson of Nissan AMIEO, said PIXO was built specifically for European cities to give customers what they need from an EV without unnecessary complexity, and framed rising fuel costs as strengthening the case for electrification — a shift he said Nissan is addressing through both its expanding EV lineup and its e-POWER hybrid technology to lower running costs without sacrificing convenience.

Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2027, with pricing, market specifications and pre-order details to follow starting in December.
