Customers can now order the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé through all sales partners and online. The four-door sports car lifts performance and driving excitement to a fresh level, distinguished by extreme power, sustained continuous output, sharply precise dynamics, and an intense AMG driving character.
At launch, buyers choose between two powerful variants: the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-Door Coupé and the Mercedes-AMG GT 55 4-Door Coupé.
Triple Axial Flux Motor Architecture
A revolutionary drive concept anchors the model. For the first time in an all-electric series production vehicle, axial-flux motors power the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé.
The sports car deploys three of these highly innovative motors—two at the rear axle, one at the front—producing a combined system output reaching 860 kW (1,169 hp). Supporting them is a high-performance battery concept that promises both enormous and repeatedly accessible power, paired with rapid energy absorption and high power density.
Acceleration and Charging Benchmarks
Performance figures are striking. The sprint from standstill to 100 km/h takes just 2.1 seconds, while the run from 0 to 200 km/h requires only 6.4 seconds. Top speed reaches 300 km/h with the optional Driver’s Package.
The car proves equally quick at the charging station. With 600 kW charging capacity, over 460 kilometres of range can be replenished in just 10 minutes. A typical charge from 10 to 80% State of Charge takes only 11 minutes.
V8 Sound Simulation and Dynamics
V8 enthusiasts will appreciate the AMGFORCE S+ mode, which delivers a highly authentic, signature AMG V8 sound spectacle alongside a haptic-immersive experience that includes traction interruption during simulated gear changes.
An adapted driver display in central-tube design completes the impression of a high-performance V8 sports car. With this mode engaged, it both feels and sounds like a high-power V8 car.
Through the AMG RACE ENGINEER, ambitious drivers can tailor the dynamics even more individually to their style. Intelligently linked hardware and software allow precise control of response, traction, and cornering behaviour, sharpening agility and elevating the driving experience to an impressive new level.
Active Aerodynamic Systems
To transfer the untamed power to the road, the four-door sports car’s aerodynamics adapt rapidly to each driving situation, prioritizing either maximum dynamics or efficiency.
The 4-Door Coupé introduces several innovative developments, with either two active AEROKINETICS Venturi plates in the underbody or the active AEROKINETICS rear diffuser available depending on configuration.
Extensive Customization Options
An extensive selection of individual options provides wide-ranging customization. The AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package (€5,295.50) bundles high-performance components including AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active roll stabilisation, AMG RACE ENGINEER Control Unit, the “Race” driving programme, and AMG TRACK PACE.
The AMG Driver’s Package (€5,250.00) raises top speed to 300 km/h and adds the AMG Performance cooling system plus a carbon-ceramic composite braking system.
AEROKINETICS Venturi Flow (€5,176.50) provides active aerodynamic technology for optimal roadholding, while the AMG Aerodynamics Package Plus (€4,522.00) increases efficiency through the AEROKINETICS rear diffuser and aerodynamically optimised 20-inch wheels.
The AMG Performance Seat Package comes in Advanced (€3,439.10) or High-End (€6,116.60) versions for ideal lateral support. The AMG Performance Charging Package (€2,380.00) enables up to 600 kW charging power with additional powertrain cooling elements.
Lighting, Roof, and Audio Options
The Exterior Lighting Package (€1,249.50) adds radiant accents to the radiator grille including the Mercedes-Benz star, with light bands between front headlights and above rear lights.
The SKY CONTROL Panoramic Roof with Illuminated Pattern (€2,975.00) offers variable transparency across 9 segments and an illuminated AMG emblem, while the Lightweight Roof in Carbon Design (€4,760.00) provides an extra-light carbon fibre-reinforced plastic roof.
The Burmester High-End Surround Sound System (€4,879.00) delivers a 4D sound experience with up to 30 loudspeakers, 1,610 watts of system power, automatic sound focus, and Dolby Atmos.
