Citroën has introduced the C5 Aircross Emeraude special edition, arriving one year after the launch of the current-generation C5 Aircross — a model Citroën now treats as its flagship, combining bolder design, refined aerodynamics, generous interior space and a choice of hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric powertrains, with the extended-range electric version reaching up to 680km of WLTP range.
The Emeraude edition is built around a new Emerald Blue exterior color, a deep, luminous shade Citroën ties directly to the coastal landscapes of Brittany, where the car is built.

Emerald Blue accents appear on the front bumper and door protection “Color Clips,” paired with a French flag subtly worked into the rear wing’s aerodynamic elements alongside an “Emeraude” signature; buyers who prefer a different look can also choose Perla Nera Black, Platinum Grey, Okenite White or Astoria Green.
A PLUS-Trim Base With Added Comfort
Built on the PLUS trim level, the Emeraude edition carries a matching Emerald interior theme, with blue accents on the front seat labels and an embossed dashboard insert on the passenger side, finished off with dedicated floor mats.

Standard comfort equipment includes an electric driver’s seat, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a second-row armrest, wireless phone charging and a hands-free power tailgate. The edition also adds Citroën‘s Drive Assist 2.0 Pack, bundling lane positioning assist, a reversing traffic alert effective up to 40 meters, semi-automatic lane change assist, advance speed limit warnings, and a long-range blind spot monitoring system covering up to 75 meters.
Comfort as the C5 Aircross’s Core Identity
The special edition leans into what Citroën considers the C5 Aircross’s defining trait: ride comfort. Advanced Comfort suspension with progressive hydraulic stops smooths out road imperfections, while Advanced Comfort seats are designed to create a sense of well-being from the start of a drive.

Generous rear-seat space and boot capacity support long trips without compromise, and the cabin centers on a 13-inch HD Waterfall touchscreen alongside a broad suite of driver-assistance features — all part of Citroën’s pitch that the C5 Aircross is built to make passengers want to extend a journey rather than just reach a destination.
Built in Brittany, Inspired by the Coast
The Emeraude name draws directly on the C5 Aircross’s production home at Rennes-La Janais in Brittany, a Citroën manufacturing site for more than 60 years, located just a few kilometers from the Emerald Coast that inspired the new color.

Beyond the name itself, Citroën frames the car as a showcase for French industrial capability, with the Emeraude edition conceived, designed and built entirely in France.
