Porsche has unveiled the 911 GT3 Bergsport, a 100-unit market edition for Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland created by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and built on the current 911 GT3 with Touring Package.
The car draws on Porsche’s long connection to the Alps, from the Gmünd sawmill in the Austrian mountains where the first Porsche sports cars were built to the winding mountain passes that served as testing ground for its earliest road and race cars.
The GT3 Bergsport will make its world debut at the Arosa ClassicCar hill climb in Switzerland on September 4, driven by Porsche Brand Ambassador Jörg Bergmeister up the event’s 7.3-kilometer course, which climbs 422 meters through 76 corners.
A Spec Focused on Precision and Low Weight
The Bergsport leans into the qualities that reward driving in the mountains: low weight, sharp handling and mechanical feedback. It pairs the Lightweight Package — with aluminum wheels replacing the magnesium wheels normally included — with a manual six-speed gearbox, a front axle lift system for steep ramps and uneven surfaces, and a 90-liter fuel tank for longer touring range.

The forged wheels are finished in satin White Gold and Ceramica, a nod to ice-capped peaks, and frame vivid orange brake calipers meant to evoke alpenglow, the warm light that hits Alpine summits at dawn and dusk.
Colors and Details Drawn From the Mountains
The edition debuts a new Paint to Sample Plus color called Valleygreenmetallic, developed to echo the deep greens and earth tones of the mountains, with gold metallic flecks that sparkle in sunlight like fresh snow.

Other exterior details include tinted HD-Matrix LED headlights, a checkered flag motif on the front luggage compartment lid inspired by the 908 Bergspyder, a B-pillar badge reading “GT3 Bergsport,” and a circular engine-cover emblem featuring four Alpine peaks — one for each market — alongside a winding road against a mountain backdrop.
Porsche is also releasing a special edition of Curves Magazine tied to the launch, limited to 1,000 copies.
An Interior That Carries the Theme Through
Inside, Valleygreen leather covers the folding carbon-fiber bucket seats that come with the Lightweight Package, and the car keeps a rear seat system despite its driving-focused setup.
Orange stitching and embroidered “GT3” lettering on the headrests continue the alpenglow accent, repeated on the start switch, accelerator pedal, 12-o’clock steering wheel marker, manual gearshift pattern and Sport Chrono Package details with the Porsche Design GT Clock.

Alternating black and white cross-stitching on the doors and upper dashboard forms stylized mountain-peak silhouettes, while a Light Design Package adds ambient lighting, a BOSE surround sound system comes standard, and even the key, key pouch and documentation wallet are made to match the edition’s palette.
A Contemporary Interpretation, Not a Throwback
Porsche frames the GT3 Bergsport not as a revival of a past model but as a modern expression of the values that took shape on Alpine roads.

An accompanying lifestyle collection includes 1:43 and 1:18 scale model cars, caps, travel mugs, key rings, themed hoodies and, for the 2027/2028 winter season, GT3 Bergsport skis made by Austrian brand HEAD.
