Lexus Launches a Helicopter Service Called Lexus Flight

Lexus is launching a new helicopter transportation service called Lexus Flight, operated by Aero Toyota Co., Ltd. starting August 24, 2026.

Run through a dedicated Lexus Helicopter, the service is framed as the air-travel piece of a broader mobility ecosystem the brand is building across land, sea and air, and ties directly into “DISCOVER — Imitate No One,” the brand message Lexus introduced at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 to signal a push toward more individualized customer experiences.

Building a Full Land-Sea-Air Portfolio

Lexus Flight follows a pattern the brand has been building for a while, expanding its luxury offerings beyond cars through products like the six-wheel LS Concept and the LY680 flagship yacht.

Adding a helicopter service rounds that out into what Lexus is calling a 360-degree mobility experience — one that no longer treats getting to a destination as separate from the experience of being there.

Reframing the Journey Itself

Working with Aero Toyota, Lexus is positioning the trip between departure point and destination as part of the experience rather than downtime spent traveling.

That plays out as a connected sequence: a chauffeured Lexus vehicle takes customers to the heliport, the Lexus Helicopter covers the leg between cities and resort areas, and the LY680 yacht picks up the water-based portion of the trip.

The goal, according to Lexus, is turning mobility from a functional necessity into something that adds to a customer’s lifestyle in its own right.
