Cadillac has revealed the V-ONE Concept, a single-seat design study that pairs the brand’s V-Series performance lineage with a one-of-one build — a first for Cadillac.
Rather than styling a concept around racing themes, Cadillac built the V-ONE directly off the V-Series.R race car’s engineering, developing it jointly with Cadillac Racing and chassis builder Dallara. Executive Design Director Dominic Najafi called it the clearest signal yet of where Cadillac wants to take the V-Series brand.
Backed by a Real Racing Record
The V-ONE draws on Cadillac’s LMDh program, which has posted 10 wins, 16 pole positions and 32 podiums across the IMSA WeatherTech Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship since the V-Series.R debuted in 2023 — including a manufacturer, team and driver sweep that same year, Hyperpole honors at Le Mans in 2025, and Cadillac’s first WEC 1-2 finish at São Paulo.
The concept carries over the race car’s V-8 hybrid powertrain, producing a combined 830 horsepower, along with shared suspension hardware — double wishbones, pushrod-actuated coil and torsion springs, and lateral and heave dampers front and rear — plus an aero package inspired directly by the V-Series.R. A race-style interface adds real-time feedback and coaching as drivers explore the car’s limits, though Cadillac says the V-ONE is built to be easier to drive than the race car it’s based on.
Design That Stays Close to the Race Car
Exterior proportions carry over almost directly from the V-Series.R, giving the concept an unmistakably race-bred silhouette. Cadillac dressed it up with a new V-Series wheel design and dark-finish V-Series badging, plus a hand-sprayed paint gradient running from silver to deep navy, meant to evoke an endurance race’s transition from daylight into night.
A Bespoke, Race-Bred Cockpit
Inside, the single seat blends exposed carbon structure with a custom UX/UI and materials selected specifically for the concept, including recycled fabrics from the Cadillac Collection.
The steering wheel carries a racecar-style button layout developed with input from racing engineers, the door features a serialized plaque, and the seat itself is built to the driver’s own specifications.
The Cadillac V-ONE Concept, which is not for sale, will make its public debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, in Carmel, California, on August 14, 2026.
