Following its world premiere in Seoul, South Korea, the all-new electric C-Class is available to order. In Germany, prices for the C 400 4MATIC electric start at €56,900 excluding VAT for business customers and €67,711 including VAT for private customers. Private customer leasing options begin at €470 monthly.
The electric sedan launches as the C 400 4MATIC electric, combining what Mercedes-Benz characterizes as the sportiest C-Class with outstanding long-distance capability. Additional models featuring rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, and various battery variants will follow, including a rear-wheel drive model with expected range approaching 800 kilometers.
800-Volt Architecture Enables Long-Distance Capability
The C 400 4MATIC electric achieves up to 762 kilometers WLTP range. With 800-volt technology and fast DC charging, up to 325 kilometers can be recharged in 10 minutes, enabling short charging stops on longer journeys.
In real-world long-distance use, the electric C-Class can cover well over 1,000 kilometers with one brief charging stop—for example, Berlin to Paris (1,054 kilometers).
The C 400 4MATIC electric records combined energy consumption between 18.5-14.1 kWh/100 km with zero CO₂ emissions.
Performance and Chassis Technology
The C 400 4MATIC electric combines high ride comfort with immediate agility. Optional AIRMATIC air suspension adapts damping to the situation, while rear-axle steering tightens the turning circle and adds precision and stability at speed. Peak output reaches 360 kW with 800 Nm torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h occurs in 4.0 seconds with 210 km/h top speed.
Design and Interior Space
The first electric C-Class sedan features distinctive sporty proportions with a low, flat front, taut roof line, and flowing rear creating a coupé-like silhouette. The grille can display light animations during unlocking, locking, or charging.
The electric architecture enables a new space concept with generous passenger and luggage room. Everyday usability includes a 470-liter boot plus 101-liter front trunk and towing capacity reaching 1.8 tonnes.
MBUX Hyperscreen and MB.OS Integration
The 99.3 cm (39.1 inch) MBUX Hyperscreen represents Mercedes-Benz’s largest display. Powered by Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) and Digital Extras, the system provides intelligent, intuitive, and personalized infotainment and driving functions.
MB.OS connects vehicle domains including infotainment, comfort, charging, and driver assistance, enabling over-the-air updates via Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud.
Driver Assistance Features
Advanced driver assistance functions are bundled as MB.DRIVE, with many features activatable over-the-air via Mercedes-Benz Store. Standard equipment includes DISTRONIC Distance Assist for speed and distance control plus MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST.
Optional MB.DRIVE Assist combines DISTRONIC with Steering Assist (SAE Level 2) and can facilitate lane changes in extra-urban areas. MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST 360 optionally adds 360-degree camera.
