Hyundai Motor Company is teaming up with PEANUTS™ to deliver a special kind of driving experience in the U.S. Starting December 1, drivers will be able to personalize their vehicles with their favorite PEANUTS characters through the company’s new display themes featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown and friends.

“Our new customizable in-car displays featuring PEANUTS makes our dashboards more character-rich,” said Olabisi Boyle, Senior Vice President, Product Planning and Mobility Strategy, Hyundai Motor North America. “When one of the world’s most beloved universes is featured inside your software-defined display, every drive becomes more personal, more playful, and more ‘you,’ proving that the future of in-car technology isn’t just smarter, it’s more human.”

Personalized Displays Meet Timeless Charm of PEANUTS™

Hyundai Motor’s display-theme feature allows drivers to customize vehicle screens, offering a unique way to personalize their in-car environment. Featuring vibrant designs inspired by Snoopy’s imagination, vintage comic aesthetics and the spirit of a classic American road trip, the PEANUTS themes create a dynamic and nostalgic experience for drivers.

The PEANUTS Display Themes will be offered for purchase via Hyundai Motor’s Bluelink Store (an active BlueLink account is required). Once purchased, the update is downloaded directly to the vehicle’s infotainment system via over-the-air (OTA) update.

After download is complete, the themes appear in the infotainment settings menu. The feature will debut in select new models, including the IONIQ 9 and all-new PALISADE. This playful collaboration combines cutting-edge automotive technology with the timeless charm of one of the world’s most recognizable pop culture and character brands.

Driving Personalization Forward with More Digital Features and Global Rollouts

The introduction of the PEANUTS Display Themes marks the beginning of Hyundai Motor’s plan to continuously expand its suite of digital features, even post-purchase.

Models equipped with the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) and over-the-air (OTA) software update capabilities will gain access to new themes and advanced digital features through 2025 and beyond. By focusing on personalization, the company aims to redefine the customer journey, offering seamless solutions that evolve alongside drivers’ preferences.

The PEANUTS display themes will expand to additional models at a later stage. Hyundai Motor will continue the gradual regional rollout, including Korea and other global markets.
