With IAA Mobility 2025 now underway, this year highlighting the mobility of tomorrow, Genesis is showcasing its vibrant brand and exciting electrified model line-up with an activation at its Munich Studio.

Located on the Bavarian capital’s iconic Theatinerstraße, visitors can immerse themselves in the new all-electric model range, GMR-001 Hypercar and the GV60 Magma Concept.

Visitors to the Studio can also discover the brand’s bold European portfolio with a test drive experience on the IAA Blue Lane, offering an opportunity to get behind the wheel of the enhanced Genesis GV60, Electrified GV70 and Electrified G80.

Enhanced GV60 arrives in Europe

The event also marks the German debut of the enhanced GV60, bringing comprehensive design, technology and specification updates to Genesis’ first dedicated all-electric model.

The compact SUV builds on the success of the award-winning first generation, offering a more refined experience for customers, upgraded battery specification and advanced new technologies. Customers can browse, configure and order their enhanced GV60.

Key executives gather in Munich

During IAA Mobility 2025, Genesis is welcoming key executives to its Munich Studio, including recently appointed Managing Director for Genesis Motor Europe, Peter Kronschnabl.

He commented, “We’re delighted to invite show visitors to our Studio in Munich and offer test drives of our all-electric range at this year’s IAA Mobility. The debut of the enhanced GV60, GV60 Magma Concept and GMR-001 Hypercar in Germany reinforces our position as a design-driven performance brand, as well as offering a glimpse into an exciting new chapter of growth for Genesis. This begins with the global reveal of our first high-performance production model, GV60 Magma, which will take place in Europe later this year and closely followed by expansion into four additional European markets early next year.”

Genesis Magma Racing Testing

As part of the brand’s executive presence at IAA, Cyril Abiteboul, Team Principal of Genesis Magma Racing, came straight from testing of the GMR-001 Hypercar Circuit Paul Ricard, France.

During five days of testing the team completed over 500 laps with drivers André Lotterer and Luis ‘Pipo’ Derani at the helm of the car.

Commenting on the progress made by the team in recent weeks, Cyril said: “We continue to work at the traditional Genesis hyper speed in preparation for our FIA World Endurance Championship debut next year. We have hit numerous key milestones in recent weeks exactly as planned at the start of the year. As we approach the first race of the 2026 season in Qatar there is still a long road ahead, but we will continue to push ourselves to bring the team as much success as possible on the track.”
