Renault Korea has named men’s fencing gold medalist Oh Sang-Wook as the official ambassador of New Renault Grand Corleos.
Named the official ambassador of New Renault Grand Coréos, fencer Oh Sang-Wook is the first Asian athlete to achieve the Grand Slam of fencing, winning gold medals at four international fencing tournaments. In addition to his fencing prowess, Oh is also loved for his impressive height of 192 centimeters and his stunning visuals.
The New Renault Koleos is a mid-size SUV with a large body, spacious interior, and modern, sporty design. According to Renault Korea, Oh Sang-wook’s smooth, fast and powerful fencing skills and attractive appearance are similar to the image of the New Renault Grand Koleos, making him a perfect fit for the ambassador.
He is also the right person to convey to customers the meaning of the New Renault Grand Corleos, the first car in Renault Korea’s ‘Aurora Project’, as he overcame a slump last year due to an ankle injury.

In addition, Renault Korea chose Oh as an ambassador because his background as a Korean world champion in fencing, a sport that originated in France and has won all major world championships, makes him a fitting representative of the company’s strategy of ‘Born in France, Made in Korea’.
“When I first encountered the New Renault Grand Corleos, I was impressed by the car’s stability and sophisticated design, and I am honored to become its ambassador,” said Oh Sang-wook. ”With its spacious and comfortable interior and smooth ride, I expect the New Renault Grand Corleos to provide long-distance driving comfort and driving pleasure.”
The New Renault Grand Koleos is now available at Renault Korea showrooms nationwide, with customer deliveries starting with the E-Tech Hybrid model on September 6th. For more information about the vehicle, please visit the showroom or contact the customer center.
