Polestar launches free check-up service campaign for high-voltage batteries

Polestar, Sweden’s premium electric car brand, is offering a free high-voltage battery inspection service for Polestar 2 customers.

Polestar has decided to offer a voluntary free inspection service in response to the government’s electric vehicle safety recommendations and to ease customer anxiety and build trust.

All Polestar 2 vehicles sold since its launch in January 2022 are eligible for the free inspection, and the free inspection includes 16 items, ranging from voltage and temperature deviation measurement of the high-voltage battery cell, thermal management and cooling system, high-voltage cable damage check, Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) check, battery pack bottom damage check, latest software check, etc.

The free inspection period runs until March next year, and customers can make an appointment at the nearest Polestar Service Point (38 authorized Volvo Cars service centers nationwide).

Polestar Korea also offers a 5-year or 100,000km general parts warranty and 8-year or 160,000km high-voltage battery warranty as standard, and provides free pick-up and delivery service for warranty repairs.
