Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car brand, has announced the further expansion of its Australian retail network.
Polestar’s new Canberra test drive and handover centre will make it easier for buyers in one of Australia’s most important electric vehicle markets to experience and buy cars online and in-store.
Five new locations have been added to the Polestar Australia network since January 2025, expanding the brand’s reach into South Australia, regional Victoria, and western Sydney.
Polestar Australia managing director, Scott Maynard, says: “This year has already been a strong one for Polestar Australia, and we intend to keep that momentum rolling through the second half of 2025.
“With strong government support for EVs and a robust public charge network, the ACT is a market with huge potential for Polestar.”
As part of the expanded retail network, Polestar will have a retail presence in Launceston for the first time.
Polestar Rushcutters Bay, announced earlier in 2025 as a replacement for Polestar Alexandria, is now live.
Owners also have access to an expanded network of 19 Polestar Service Points to manage maintenance and accessories.
The expanded network of retail locations in Australia is part of Polestar’s global shift to an active selling model. Together with its partners, Polestar is on track to increase retail spaces globally by 75 per cent before the end of 2026.
Polestar price in Australia
Polestar’s range consists of three models in Australia. Polestar 2 is an electric fastback, and was the first fully electric model from Polestar. It’s available in three variants, with a choice of Single motor and Dual motor powertrains. Pricing starts from $62,400*
Polestar 3 is an award-winning large luxury electric SUV, available in Long range Single motor and Long range Dual motor variants. Pricing starts from $118,420*.
Polestar 4 blends coupe looks with SUV spaciousness, thanks to an innovative design featuring no rear windscreen and a high-definition rear-facing camera feed.
It’s the fastest Polestar to date, capable of 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds.
Long range Single motor and Long range Dual motor variants are available, with pricing from $78,500*.
Polestar 5, an electric performance GT, will join the range in 2025.
