In continuing this tradition, we created the BMW ALPINA B8 GT. It embodies our passion for automotive masterpieces and combines unmistakable elegance with impressive driving performance.
The 4.4 litre V8 Bi-Turbo in the BMW ALPINA B8 GT has no technical similarities with the 4-cylinder (so called “A Engine” type) from the early days of ALPINA.
Twice the number of cylinders, almost three times the displacement and over seven times the power. Nevertheless, both are still known for their smooth running characteristics and superior power delivery
THE ALPINA GENES
The BMW ALPINA B8 GT is equipped with the latest version of the V8 Bi-Turbo as last applied in the BMW ALPINA B5 GT. It provides 466 kW (634 hp) and a maximum torque of 850 Nm, making it the most powerful engine in ALPINA’s history!
The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in just 3.3 seconds, and the 200 km/h mark is reached in just 10.5 seconds. The continuous, sustained acceleration thrust above 200 km/h is simply impressive.
Thanks to the aforementioned technical changes, the B8 GT can now reach a top speed of 330 km/h. Therefore, it is definitely one of the fastest of its kind again.
PLAYFUL COLOURS
In addition to the classic traditional colours ALPINA Blue (standard) and ALPINA Green II (standard), the BMW ALPINA B8 GT is available in the following five specially selected special paint finishes: Arctic Race Blue, Verdant Green Pearl, Purple Silk, Enigmatic Black or Crystal Casserit Black.
The traditional exterior trim stripes, known as the ALPINA Deco-Set, are available in the colour Carbon Metallic – offering a wide range of design options.
Exclusive and limited to 20 units: The BMW ALPINA B8 GT is available in an elegant bi-colour paintwork. There are two colour combinations to choose from, in which either ALPINA Blue or ALPINA Green II is combined with Black Sapphire.
EDITION ACCESSORIES
Weekender
Each vehicle comes with two exclusive weekender bags. Made from the finest black LAVALINA leather, the elegant design is stylishly complemented by accents in blue: a blue zip with embossed ALPINA lettering, finely embroidered ALPINA lettering on both sides of the bag and a blue inner lining featuring the ALPINA word mark woven into the fabric tone-on-tone.
Each weekender comes with a high-quality stainless steel plaque bearing the engraved signature of Burkard Bovensiepen and the serial number of the vehicle. This badge can also be found in the delivery box, which is made of fine wood. This offers space for the vehicle key and a B8 GT key tag.
Chronograph
A special highlight of the B8 GT delivery scope is an exclusive chronograph that was developed in collaboration with the renowned Swiss watch and jewellery expert Carl F. Bucherer. Based on the renowned Manero Flyback model, this timepiece has been visually and technically refined in the style of Burkard Bovensiepen.
The BMW ALPINA B8 GT comes as standard with exclusive full leather upholstery available in four variants, combining high-quality Merino leather with Alcantara seat centre panels.
UPHOLSTERY
The design is rounded off by perfectly coordinated colour accents, striking contrast stitching and the embroidered Burkard Bovensiepen signature in the upper section of the front seat backrests.
The full leather upholstery is complemented by leather seat trims and steering column trim. The standard Alcantara headlining seamlessly complements the upholstery, creating an elegant atmosphere inside the cabin.
Customers also have the opportunity to take advantage of the exclusive offer from the in-house ALPINA leather workshop. Here they can individually configure a customised full leather interior made from the finest, naturally tanned LAVALINA leather. Each interior is masterfully handcrafted to make your B8 GT a unique one-off.
