The all-new 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 has received the 2026 EV of the Year award from the Hispanic Motor Press, a recognition established through the organization’s 16th-annual awards program.
The accolade honors vehicles that best serve Hispanic consumers based on comprehensive evaluation criteria including driving satisfaction, technological advancement, clean mobility solutions, safety features, infotainment systems, styling, and overall value proposition.
The award presentation took place during the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show’s AutoMobility LA media days, where a distinguished jury panel comprising Hispanic automotive journalists, content creators, and industry experts selected the IONIQ 9 from among multiple finalists.
The three-row electric SUV distinguished itself through its combination of spacious versatility, innovative electric vehicle technology, advanced safety features, and family-oriented design characteristics.
